MORE TECHNO INFLUENCE ON THERE SECOND ALBUM. ALMOST AS GOOD AS THERE FIRST, IT DOESN'T HAVE THE SAME ATMOSPHERE AS ECLIPSE, BUT STILL ENJOYABLE. Enjoy!
FALL OF BECAUSE WAS THE BAND THE WOULD BECOME GODFLESH. FEATURING JUSTINE BROADRICK ON DRUMS/VOCALS , BEN GREEN ON BASS AND PAUL NEVILLE ON GUITAR/VOCALS/PROGRAMMING. FALL OF BECAUSE IS SIMILAR TO GODFLESH BUT THE PUNK/CRUST ROOTS ARE MORE VISIBLE AND ITS A BIT MORE EXPERIMENTAL. IF YOU LIKE GODFLESH YOU WILL LIKE THIS. Enjoy!
ONCE AGAIN NOT MY NORMAL POST. THIS ALBUM IS CRUSHING, THE GUITAR WASHES OVER THE BASS LINE AND DRUMS LIKE AN OCEAN WITH NO BOTTOM. (INTERESTING FACT: JUSTINE BROADRICK PUT THIS ALBUM OUT ON HIS LABEL HEADIRT IN 92) IF YOU LIKE THIS ALBUM BUY IT FROM CRUCIAL BLAST, THEY WERE NICE ANUFF TO REISSUE IT. LISTEN TO IT LOUD!
NOT WHAT I NORMALLY POST, BUT SKULLFLOWER RULES. THERE ONE OF THOSE BANDS THAT SIT IN BETWEEN GENRES. PSYCH ROCK AND NOISE. LAST SHOT AT HEAVEN IS JUST AN AWESOME ALBUM. LISTEN TO IT LOUD! Enjoy!
MASSIVE, CRUSHING, DOOM FILLED. THIS ALBUM SHOULD BE A CLASSIC. HEAVYER THEN STREETCLEANER. THE RYTHM WILL CRUSH YOUR SKULL AT THE SPEED OF TECTONIC PLATES. IF YOU LIKE THIS ALBUM GO OUT AND BUY IT, THERE ARE MANY CHEAP COPY'S FLOATING AROUND.
The purpose of "Long live the New Flesh" is to promote and help people find out about bands they would have never heard of. After I heard the album Streetcleaner by Godflesh I had to hear more stuff like it. I hope that in some way this blog helps someone find a bunch of awsome industrial music. But remember, what you find in this blog is no substitute for the real record. So if you enjoy this music, go out and buy it. If any record label or band has an issue with any of the enclosed posts, or someone would like to get in touch with me for whatever reason, please feel free to email me at ------------------------------------------------:
